Tribute
In 1942, my mother showed a collection of her ceramic figurines in Paris. Grandfather Henri Matisse attended the show and spontaneously made sketches of my mother’s work. Sadly, the original drawings are gone, but I did my own rendition of the images in 2015, which is what you see here.
